The bonds between art and technology have an extensive history, however, in recent years the
development of information technology has opened a new kind of dialogue between them. Consequently,
we developed two TV programs that explore the work of two immensely important artists that combine
their artistic practice with the use of technology: Gyula Kosice and Marta Minujín.
This series is produced in the context of our Electronic Arts university courses at Untref.
Our intention is
to present an alternative analysis of the classic interpretation of the relationship between art and
technology in the work of these two artists. Accordingly the programs deal with the technological context
and ideas related to technology embedded in their artistic processes so as to see the way in which they
determine the formal aspect of the artworks themselves.
