Tracks of the gaze cut from the map of Aguadilla, Dominican Republic, and related to Leisha's memory.

I was about six or seven years old when my grandfather came to me from school and took me with him to the town of Aguadilla. We stopped to talk to his friend who sold newspapers on the corner of Victoria Street and Muñoz Rivera. They discussed politics, since my grandfather was a radio announcer and commentator at election time. As in Puerto Rico it is hot summer throughout the year, then rewarded my patience taking me to eat piraguas when crossing the public square, in front of the mayor. On warm days, when I go down to the town to do errands, I cross those corners in which I used to share with my grandfather and buy myself a piragua in his memory.
